Using green tea as a weight loss supplement

A certain amount people who are over weight look for that magic quick fix of a diet pill that will dissolve their excess fat. Sadly that isn't possible, however a healthy diet and the use of a natural products like green tea is achievable.

Although supplements aren't going to produce miracles, diet experts and weight-loss experts alike agree that many of the supplements available, greatly help the dieter throughout the ongoing fight for curves and muscles. Of the three frequently used dietary supplements presently available, eco-friendly green tea extract seems all probability the most promising. (Another two dietary supplements available are protein and ephedra.)

Green tea weight loss supplements contain both caffeine and the chemical epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). When these two substances in green tea act in response to each other, the metabolic processes increases with the body's 24-hour energy expenditure. Green tea's EGCG also stimulates the discharge of the hormone "noradrenaline", an appetite-suppressant.

Green tea weight loss products can increase the body's metabolic rates, thereby escalating the rate by which fat and calories are burned. Green tea weight loss products are also able to encourage the body into burning fats faster,resulting in more fats being converted into energy. A recent study published in Phytomedicine, a journal on the health benefits of plants, showed that most people who takes in green tea extract as weight loss supplement essentially lose about two kilos a month.

Green tea weight loss supplements come in standardized tablets or capsule forms. For most satisfactory results, choose a green tea weight loss supplement containing ninety milligrams of EGCG and fifty milligrams of caffeine. Green tea weight loss supplement is generally taken three times a day before meals. Whilst green tea weight loss supplements do not have any adverse side-effects,it is always beneficial to consult medical advice before taking them.
