Details That Help To Explain More About Private Label Indoor Tanning Lotion

By Haywood Hunter

Many stores who offer multiple brands offer tan products produced by private label indoor tanning lotion companies. These products are not labeled with the information of who actually manufactured them, rather they are labeled with the information of another brand. These products are often priced lower than other major brands and are sometimes used by stores as their "store brand".

They are just some of the many products offered by private label retailers. These lotions are not to be confused with other lotions as they are different in some major ways. First, they do not have any form of sun protecting ingredients or sunscreen. Second, they are made specifically for use with ultra violate light, unlike other sunless tan products.

Ultra violate light is most often come by through the use of the many beds and booths found at special salons. The lotions contain specific ingredients that react or work better under ultra violate light, such as copper elements, oils, and melanin derivatives. These ingredients are designed to be used in a tan bed or a special booth and are formulated in a way that does not harm or stain the acrylics often used in the beds.

Another main use for these is to hydrate and moisturize the skin prior to using a bed. The beds are known to dehydrate and dry skin out, leaving it uneven and devoid of moisture. Tanning lotions help to keep the skin moisturized both before and after use of the beds or booths.

There are few, if any, of these that work outdoors as well. By nature the products do not include and sunscreen, so they are not recommended for use outside. There are other products available that are designed for use out of doors and consumers should purchase these if they do not intend on using a bed or booth to achieve their tan.

Different results and usages call for different kinds of lotions. Some lotions have exfoliating properties that help people whose dry skin would produce less than optimal results. Usually these exfoliating lotions are intended to be used by those who visit both beds and spray tan booths.

Other private label indoor tanning lotion selections include ingredients that offer results in a shorter amount of time. This is especially good for those who want to minimize the time they spend under the harsh rays of a bed. Yet another lotion formulation is meant for those who wish to erase or minimize tan lines which are often unsightly and annoying.
